Medium Speed Weigh in Motion

The MVR Series of In-Motion Vehicle Scale offers the ideal combination of accuracy and speed. The In-Motion Scale uses a fully welded steel structure contained within a single framework. This rugged platform is supported by four DESB-DBA Series Load Cells to weigh each axle end of a vehicle as it travels across the scale. The weighing platform is approximately 3000mm in width and 750mm in length and is constructed of smooth finish HT grade steel plate. The welded steel structure is designed with performance and longevity in mind.

The extremely stiff and rigid weighbridge, coupled with four 20,000 kg capacity load cells, results in a higher resonant frequency allowing more efficient filtering of spurious weight signals.

  • GLCD display with four keys on the front panel of eldon MS box.

  • Logic with two loops and one IRS (pnp) type.
  • MVR will supply two parallel sensing Light curtains with each controller.
  • The Light curtains will installed in a box near WIM along with junction box by MVR
  • A power supply of 24V to drive IRS.
  • LEDs on mother board for loop sensors and IRS.
  • This is low speed (max speed 20 kmph) system with accuracy of 2-4% of fsc and depends on the level of section before and after weighing zone.

MVR LC’S are double ended shear beam load cell ideally suited for Truck, track, onboard weighing applications. Its construction of high alloy tool steel provides optimum protection under impact loading & adverse conditions. The cell is environmentally protected with waterproof seal and is Electro less nickel plated to assure resistance against corrosion.
